2003: THE EMERGENCE OF THE GEM An explorer at heart, Gunjan took the leap to discover cultural diversity by spending a summer at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in the UK. The microcosm here offered her a worldview that blurred the man-made lines of geography and resulted in her evolution as a global citizen.

2005: THE MAKING OF A BESPOKE CAREERAttaining a Bachelor's from one of the top 10 US public universities expanded her horizons as she creatively engaged in Psychology, Economics, Finance, Literature, Public Speaking and Visual Arts. This set the ground for her plethora of verticals, as she kept up with her entrepreneurial adventures.

2006: the finishing touches With a diploma in International Etiquette and Protocol from the world’s finest Finishing school of Institut Villa Pierrefeu, Switzerland, her personality got the finishing touches that was a rich and beautiful convergence of her learnings and experiences from an academic career spanning 5 countries across 3 continents, with all the right ingredients to embark on an international professional career.

2007: a global worldview She earned a Master's degree in Wealth Management with honours, from the Cass Business School, City University of London. But she soon realised her calling lay beyond the world of finances. She looked to unite her purpose with her passion and to engage with the community and the universe. Her journey thus began, inside out.

2007: return to home ground: testing the pitchThis was the era of sons returning to Dad's businesses back home. Only in this case, it was a daughter. As Investment Banker managing the Equity and Real Estate market for the family portfolio at the Arissan Group of Companies, her financial acumen and strong analytical skills helped thrive her family's venture.

2008: birth of the authorManaging finances was for her brain. But being a free spirit, she flowed with the ink of her pen as she began her writing stint as a guest columnist with the critically appraised business daily The Economic Times (ET) and with the widest read English daily in the nation, The Times of India (TOI).

2009: she seeks, she findsA mind that strives towards Universality, knows that she must awaken to the questions of individuality. The quest brought her to Singapore where she took a Diploma in Image Management from the London Image Institute, UK & the Academy of Image Mastery, Singapore.

2010: a mind at workA keen interest in the human psyche lead Gunjan to study for a Master Practitioner’s degree in Neuro-Linguistic Programming from the Society of NLP, USA under its renowned founder Dr Richard Bandler. This training was instrumental to her harnessing the powers of her mind to reach out beyond the ordinary.

2013-2015: the dna of a pioneer As her pen flourished, she envisioned something that was never attempted before. Gunjan travelled through India and interviewed over 150 iconic people in just two and a half years and the result was - She Walks She Leads, Gunjan’s debut work that explored success through a different lens.

2015: forbes comes callingGunjan was roped in as a guest contributor with Forbes India. Her leadership articles interviewing the crème de la crème of the country were both rich in critical analysis and exemplary in writing style and the sheer range of thought to inspire minds across the country.

2016: she walks she leads like no other She Walks She Leads’ book launch was one of the grandest launches in the Indian publishing industry, hosted by Nita Ambani and Deepak Parekh with Shahrukh Khan as the special guest.

2018: moving aheadA keen academic at heart, Gunjan secured a much-coveted seat and initiation of studies for an Executive MBA (PGP Pro) at the Indian School of Business - ISB (ranked amongst the top 10 MBA schools in the world by the Financial Times in 2018). She was also nominated for the Young FICCI FLO Organisation (YFLO) Achiever’s Award (2017-1018).

2019: underneath all that steel Beneath all the layers, what makes Gunjan herself is her selflessness. She played an active role to support and grow her family-led humanitarian assistance and relief aid services through Santosh Lalita Jain Foundation.

2020: in her honours Honorary Doctorate Award (Honoris Causa) - In recognition of her extraordinary academic excellence, Gunjan was awarded an honorary Doctorate by the Confederation of International Accreditation Commission (CIAC), founded by CIHF, in affiliation with KEISIE International University (KIU), South Korea.

2021: the birth of flourish Innovation and change are her constants and this landed her amidst the uncertainty of the pandemic, an idea of redefining the way jewellery is conceived. Thus innovation met tradition as the House of Flourish took shape to let people experience luxury in everyday life as an eco-conscious choice of individual expression.

2021: at the helm of affairsShe accepts directorship to helm the corporate entity GJ Lifestyle Management Private Limited a body corporate for exclusive management and execution rights to the vision of Flourish by Gunjan Jain

2022: THE INK THAT NEVER DRIES The quintessential versatility of her personality, an ever-thoughtful mind, a zest for the written word and a strong will lead to the emergence of the author Gunjan despite the busy investment banker, speaker, humanitarian and entrepreneur.
